Tips for Searching databases:

• Make sure to search using keywords from your topic. Try using synonyms if you cannot find what you are looking for.
• Use the "Advanced Search" tool to refine your search results. You can use this to:
  • search an exact phrase
  • exclude words from your search result
  • search one term OR another
  • search for specific subjects, authors, titles
• After performing your search, use the search filters to narrow your search results. You can use these to:
  • filter your search by the type of document you are looking for e.g. "Articles". 
  • search for "Full text" articles​
  • filter your search to subjects, author and date
• Once you have downloaded your article, use the keyboard command Ctrl+F to find specific words in the document. This will highlight your search terms in the article.
